Those of us in the CANADIAN MILITARY/RCMP (ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE) have been fighting for years to stop the heavy claw-back of our pensions when we senior reach age 65. Because many readers of this Diary are retired Cdn Military I am including this link for everyone to sign a petition. REUNIONS are a great way to catch up with old friends

Because I was at the RCAF Base in Foymount in the early 60’s, I received this notice from a Dave Thompson afcent@sympatico.ca (Foymount 72-74) and Richard "Stringer" Conrad rcontech@telus.net (Foymount 67-73). These two formed a small committee about six weeks ago and are now planning/organizing an RCAF/CFS Foymount Reunion to be held next AUGUST 8th - 10th / 2008 in Eganville, ON. Foymount was part of the Pine Tree Line. This reunion is for ALL former RCAF/CFS Foymount military personnel, their family members, former civilian base employees and the former base school (F.G. Waite) teachers.

They will take place Jan. 10-11, 2008 at the LAKELAND CENTER, Lakeland Florida & JAN. 29-30, 2008 AT THE MESA CONVENTION CENTER in Mesa Arizona. RV Camping jobs for full and part-time workers will be featured – many employers will also be there. Seminars range from Workamping Basics to RV Retirement Planning to Resumé Writing – presented by four different presenters over the 2-day Job Fair. Advance tickets are available.
